Two things worth knowing. Starting Saturday, October 3, 2026, Saturday hours are the same as weekdays, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM. We used to close at 3:00 PM on Saturdays, so an older listing may still show that. And we are closed every Sunday, all year; that is not a holiday or seasonal thing, Sunday is simply not a business day for us. If you are coming late in the day, aim to arrive by 5:30 PM.

About Native American Day. South Dakota observes it on the second Monday in October in place of Columbus Day — a state legal holiday here, even though much of the country does not mark it. If you are driving in from Wakpala, Little Eagle, McLaughlin, Timber Lake or elsewhere on or near Standing Rock or Cheyenne River that day, call first so you are not making the trip for nothing.

Main Street events that affect parking
We are on Main Street, so the occasional community event changes how you get to our front door even when we are open normal hours. The big one is the Sitting Bull Stampede, Mobridge's long-running Fourth of July rodeo — the parade runs down Main Street in early July, with rodeo performances, the carnival and fireworks across the surrounding days. During parade setup and the parade itself, Main Street parking and access are limited. If you are planning a visit over the Stampede weekend, come earlier in the day or call ahead.
