From Gettysburg to Larsen's: Three Legs, About an Hour
The route is three legs, and the first one catches people out: Gettysburg is not on US-83. Take US-212 west about 6 miles to the US-83 junction, US-83 north about 34 miles to Selby, then US-12 west about 20 miles through Glenham into Mobridge.
Google Maps timed it at 1 hour 2 minutes on 9 October 2026; allow up to 70 minutes in normal conditions and more in winter, when US-83 drifts across open country. Stay on US-83 past Selby and you are heading for Herreid and the North Dakota line instead.
The last two blocks: the final leg is US-12 west, which runs through Mobridge as Grand Crossing Avenue, so turn left (south) on Main Street at the stoplight; Larsen's is two blocks down on the west side.
